Block the /spit emote from your chat
If you need to block the /spit emote from showing up in your chat for one reason or another, here’s a tiny addon that will do just that. It doesn’t stop anyone from USING that emote; you just won’t see it.
UPDATE: it now blocks the emote when used via /e or /emote. I’m sure some enterprising individuals will start using odd variants of the word to get around the filter; at that point you may want to look into a more general-purpose chat filter addon.
